Jon, our owner, has been operating moving companies that serve Maple Ridge For over 12 years.
Overall, the memories have been positive, but the one that stands out the most was participating in the Iron Mountain Triathalon nearly 15 years ago. At that time, it took place in April and the water of Whonnock Lake was FREEZING. It was a drizzling day and about 8 degrees. I was 1 of 2 people (out of the 300 ish total) that wasn’t wearing a wetsuit – oops.
Needless to say, the water was a touchy chilly and the race didn’t go overly well for me. In fact, my twin brother beat me by more than 2 hours – yikes! Anyways, whenever I drive along that section of the Lougheed Highway I remember that Sunday afternoon.

One really helpful thing to be aware of with our packing services, is that it includes all the needed boxes and materials. So, you don’t need to run all over town to various liquor stores, trying to snatch up their boxes.
Types of Household Moves
Local Moves
If you’re just looking to move within Maple Ridge or to a nearby place like Pitt Meadows, Langley or Mission, this is our specialty and the thing we do the most of.
As part of our process, you will meet with our owner Jon, who does the in-person quotes. He will take a look at all the things you have to move and create a custom plan for your move with a guaranteed price.
That’s right, our prices are never a mystery. You will know well in advance of your move what the exact price will be.
In fact, you can request multiple quotes for different services and have the info to decide which ones you’d like.
For example, if packing yourself doesn’t sound great, but you’re not sure if it’s within you budget, just ask Jon what the price of packing your home would be. And if that price is too high, we could explore what a partial packing job would look like. Maybe you just get the movers to pack the kitchen.
Long distance moves
If you have to move further away, to places like Kelowna, Kamloops, Prince George, Penticton, or Vancouver Island, we would love to make that process as smooth as possible for you.
These types of moves are one we do several times every month and have gotten really good at them.
Just like with our local moving services, you will be given a specified price and that quote is exactly what your move will cost.
This is VERY unusual in the moving industry, especially for long distance moves. Often, companies will give an estimate that is based on weight and you won’t actually find out what you move will cost until the truck is weighed AFTER all your items are loaded into it.
At that point, you will discover if the estimator did an accurate job or not – yikes.
If they didn’t do an accurate estimate, you will likely have a much higher bill than you were expecting.

Commerical Moves
From office relocations to warehouse moves, we have experience with these types of moves and would love to make your moving process smooth.
Your main priority is timing. Your business having downtime is not a good thing and we will work with you to create a timeline that limits that as much as possible.
Often this means we work on evenings or weekends to accomplish these projects – and that’s fine with us, we’re here to help.

We give a 1 hour arrival window and if our crew is later than that, you will get $200.

Accountability
How do you resolve damages that happened on the move?
I wish I could tell you it never happens, but that is just not reality. Despite the protection we use for flooring and furniture and the blankets we protect your items with, things can still get damaged.
